The Caregiver Gala, founded by Kesha L. Hayes, was created to honor the dedication and hard work of caregivers who selflessly care for their loved ones and those in healthcare entities. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and a current RN student, Kesha recognized the lack of recognition for those who tirelessly give of themselves. She created this event to change that.
Praise is contagious. By acknowledging the exceptional work of one caregiver, we inspire others to continue their hard work and encourage everyone to elevate the care they provide. Join us in celebrating these unsung heroes and their incredible contributions.

Dr. Kelli V Burroughs, F.A.C.O.G
Global Advocate for Women's Health
Dr. Kelli V Burroughs, an award-winning, board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist, has recently been appointed Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs and Patient Experience at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Hailing from Camden, SC, Dr. Burroughs is a proud alumna of Spelman College. She furthered her education at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her residency at the Houston Methodist Ob/Gyn program.

More than 1 in 3 older adults reported feeling a lack of companionship in the past year. Approximately one quarter of community dwelling Americans age 65 & older are considered to be socially isolated. Our non-profits mission is to enhance socialization, stimulate learning, increase emotional support and improve the health of our Aging Beauties.
Caring for Aging Beauties created the "Making a Difference in YOU Caregiver Gala" to recognize caregivers who take care of our older adults in the community. Your contribution to the "Making a Difference in YOU Caregiver Gala" allows Caring for Aging Beauties to create and engage in activities that provide social engagement, volunteer opportunities and intergenerational programming for older adults.
The Ultimate Caregiver Award
The Ultimate Caregiver Award is presented annually at our Making a Difference in You Caregiver Gala. This prestigious award honors a caregiver who has shown extraordinary dedication and compassion in their role.
Nominations are submitted by the public through a nomination form, allowing friends, family, and colleagues to recognize those who go above and beyond in caring for their loved ones or individuals in healthcare settings. Join us in celebrating these exceptional caregivers and their inspiring contributions.
